Sweet Emily

I love food, especially dessert. My mom taught me how to bake when I was a little girl, about 8 years old. Baking is one of the great joys in my life. I love making sweet treats for the people I love, and I want to share my love for baking with everyone on this blog. The recipes posted here are some of my own that I have written, some of my family's favorites, and some classics that inspire me. They are meant to be shared, and enjoyed by all. Red, White, and Blue

Happy 4th of July everybody! These are my patriotic red, white and blue cupcakes. They are a white cake with red and blue sprinkles mixed in the batter for a "confetti" cake look. The flag design on top is made from small vanilla buttercream rosettes. Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday.
